We are looking for someone who is ready to take a step up from a Shift Manager or Senior Process Operator role to join us as Production Shift Manager. Here you can use your experience to make a tangible difference to production results in our Spray Drying facility in Balclutha. You must have experience working in the Dairy, Food, or Pharma industries - and having a technical understanding of how a powder plant works would be a strong advantage. Our Production Shift Manager role is available due to an internal promotion - we are passionate about developing and growing our team of leaders, and that could soon include you!

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Facilitate between the Production Manager and Production Shift Managers - giving your role a broad and dynamic scope
- Be empowered to implement any improvements you see are needed for our factory to run efficiently
- Develop strong cross functional relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business – from the Senior Leadership to the employees on the factory floor
- Have a tangible input into production results, supporting us to reach key KPI’s for the factory
- Work cross functionally to negotiate conflicting priorities and demands between different stakeholders
YOU WILL BRING
- 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment, most recently in a Shift Manager or Senior Production Operator role
- Experience working within FMCG, Food, Dairy or Pharmaceutical industries, with understanding of how a powder plant works a strong advantage
- Great interpersonal skills, and an ability to build strong relationships and influence others
- The flexibility and agility needed to succeed in a dynamic fast paced environment
- A strong motivation to tackle the challenges you face and defy setbacks!
