About the role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your role is to ensure the success of our business through the leadership and management of the Glass Processors, whilst delivering top quality and compliant glass to our customers. As a growing business we will need someone who can coach, motivate and assist with the demands of our customers.
As the Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring all staff are crossed skilled so all production targets are met and exceeded to the best of our ability. Creating and maintaining a culture of cooperation and one team will help you succeed in this role.
Skills and Experience
- Three plus years’ experience managing operational staff in a manufacturing environment.
- Uncompromising attitude towards health and safety in the workplace
- Ability to set and meet production targets.
- Build strong culture and team environment.
- Ability to multitask in a complex work center environment
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of DIFOTIS and Lean manufacturing principles.
