Viscount FCC supply New Zealand fresh produce growers with returnable packaging solutions. Their crates, pallets and bins are of the highest quality and are designed to meet all packaging requirements, enhance the shelf life of products, and increase the marketability of produce through retailer preference of their equipment.

An opportunity has become available for a Site Co-ordinator to join this progressive organisation. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager based in Auckland, you will provide leadership to the Palmerston North site with continual focus on improving safety, process and quality performance to achieve and maintain an effective world class, low cost washing facility.

You will supervise, provide support and co-ordinate shift resource to ensure the production plan is completed to meet quality requirements in the most effective manner.

To be successful you will ideally have the following:

• Proven leadership, mentoring and team management experience
• Packaging or FMCG experience
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• A good understanding of Lean Principles (desirable)
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Word & Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

You will have strong problem-solving skills, be highly motivated and work well in a team environment. Your mature outlook, positive attitude and your proactive nature will see you excel in this role.
