That’s why we are seeking a super star Digital co-ordinator-Direct Marketing to join our team. Someone passionate about digital communication and connected experiences.
This role holds primary responsibility for the co-ordination and execution of targeted offers and 1:1 campaigns delivered via direct mail, email, till receipt, SMS, app etc to help deliver connected customer experiences that drive sales and engagement for Countdown. You will also offer secondary support for email and website content management and deployment, as well as identify and drive opportunities to increase customer engagement across all aspects of the data driven communications portfolio.
Your key day to day responsibilities will cover:
- Using segmentation and targeting to deliver a co-ordinated calendar of targeted 1:1 communications across direct to consumer channels in alignment with the overall Countdown strategy.
- Being the subject matter expert for targeted offers and Direct Mail; the most knowledgeable source of information about all direct and 1:1 communications platforms, capabilities and limitations
- Establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
- Delivering Reporting & recommendations
- Administrative support & Strategic implementation support
To be considered for this great role is is essential that you come armed with the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or other business related qualification
- Strong verbal and written communication. Excellent spelling and grammar, accuracy and attention to detail
- Minimum two years marketing communications experience, preferably data driven
- Direct mail experience
- Solid understanding of segmentation and targeting.
- Excellent computer skills including excel, word and powerpoint. Note: Countdown uses Google email and shared drive tools
- CMS (Umbraco & bespoke Site Management system), Google Analytics, Mailchimp, CRO tools eg: VMO, experience an advantage
- The ability to represent the organisation externally, with significant accountability for reputation and brand
- Manage high volume of customer interactions through to resolutions
- Data analysis/insights
