About Us -
Edwards Sound Systems is one of the biggest audio visual suppliers and integrators in New Zealand. Family owned and with over 50 years on the clock, we operate out of a 13,000 sq. foot facility in Penrose, packed to the rafters with state of the art sound, lighting and AV equipment for sale and hire. About the Role -
As we move forward into the next chapter of our journey, we are on the look-out for a junior to intermediate content creator and social media manager. You will have a great eye for videography and photography, as the vast majority of the role will be shooting and editing video for our website and social media.
While we're not picky about what education you have, whether from The University of Auckland or the University of Google, you'll need to be able to show us what you can do and why we should hire you. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, there will be a high level of autonomy within the role - the successful candidate must be self-motivated and have a can-do attitude.
An interest in audio products would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities Include -
- Weekly VLOG creation.
- Video case studies of installations and products.
- Social Media management and content creation. (Not just someone who can post three pictures a week on the 'gram - we can do that - we need someone who can think strategically about how to grow the business through social media.) You'll need to create or source content yourself, whether through photography or video. (We will provide a lot of opportunities for you to do this on a daily basis).
- Provide marketing support for the sales, installation and hire teams as well as our resellers around the country
- Travel! You'll get to see some of New Zealand (and maybe even Australia!) along the way, as we continue to expand into Australasia.
