Our client is a very successful NZ arm of a large global corporate. They are a NZ success story with a significant branch network spread around NZ. As they continue to grow, a new role has been created in the Marketing team for Sponsorship and Events.
This position will bring strategic insight, structured planning and measurement to the development and delivery of sponsorship and events strategies.
It will support and provide oversight of the management of sponsorship properties and key events to ensure they are leveraged effectively to support employee engagement levels and external brand preference. This will include the development of the sponsorship plan at a strategic level and the execution of this operationally across branch and business units.
We seek an experienced Sponsorship and Events Manager with corporate experience driving a national sponsorship and events strategy. We need a strategic thinker with demonstrated sponsorship experience managing and leveraging national sponsorship or marketing campaigns end to end.You'll demonstrate effective relationship management with key internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders. You're experienced in delivering large scale events or projects in a complex environment and have project management experience, including resource and stakeholder management.
Clearly we'll need strong commercial acumen including budget management experience and a strong understanding of ROI to ensure the success of sponsorship commitments.
This is a newly created role where you will get to develop the strategy and execute it with a fun and experienced Marketing team.
