Star Scaffolds is a dynamic industry leader specialising in aluminium safety systems. There currently exists an exciting opportunity for a qualified Welder to join our Maintenance team, based from our Warehouse in Acacia Ridge, in a full time capacity.
RESPONSIBILITIES of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings
- Be able to shape, bend, heat and hammer products to fabricate and/or repair parts
- Assembly of parts, by lining up and joining them through welding
- Set up and use of welding tools
- Set up and use of hand and machine tools
REQUIREMENTS for this role include:
- Proven experience in both steel and aluminium manufacturing and welding
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in MIG/TIG/Stick welding
- Ability to undertake other duties, as required
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- A forklift licence is preferred, however not essential
