City Builders is a fast expanding Building Company that builds residential turnkey homes all across Adelaide. We are currently looking for an experienced Retaining Wall Builder/ Landscaper to join our team.
This role will be responsible for managing and leading a small crew to ensure that all jobs are delivered and performed effectively and efficiently in accordance with project deadlines. Whilst using your high technical skills in Landscaping you must be able to understand the contracted scope of works while carrying our clear concise communication to staff, management and clients.
You will be required to conduct all facets of Landscaping including but not limited to:
- Must have Excavator experience and Ticket
- Know how to operate Laser Level, and read plans
- A team leader that can manage labourers and Trade assistants.
- Proven ability with all aspects of hard landscaping including, but not limited to: fencing, irrigation, paving and retaining walls, excavation, drainage, formwork, minor concreting repairs
- Proven ability with soft scaping including, but not limited to, soil and mulching, planting, irrigation (both installation and troubleshooting)
- Building of retaining walls MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE
- Excavation and preparation of sites
- Fencing installation and repairs
- Hard labour including shovelling & barrowing
- welding experience
MINIMUM requirements for applying for this role include:
- Industry White Card (WHS)
- Bobcat and Excavator ticket
- Current Drivers Licence (Heavy or Medium Rigid license would be a bonus)
- Physically fit with good endurance
- Able to read and interpret plans
- Self-motivated, able to work as part of a small team and follow directions as given
- Demonstrated high attention to details and quality
- Computer savvy
