Melville VW has an exciting opportunity to join the Service team as Service Advisor. Melville VW is going through an extensive redevelopment phase and is looking for positive & motivated people looking for a new challenge in a very rewarding dealership.
The main focus of this position is to act as the principal contact between the dealership and the customer for repair and maintenance services of vehicles whilst providing exceptional customer service.
You will also be required to:
- Meet and greet customers
- Take bookings and service enquiries over the Phone
- Manage and Prioritise Daily bookings
- Liaise with the Technical Svc Manager to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame
- Promote the company and source new business for the service department
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist the Service Manager when required
- Ensure accurate Data integrity is upheld
- Drive individual and team sales
- Work as part of a team
- Conduct Service follow up calls on a daily Basis
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge of the Automotive industry is favourable but not essential as Onsite Training is provided
- Has previously worked in a customer service focused role
- Polite and professional phone manner
- Works well Under pressure and Can meet Deadlines
- Ability to deal with customer complains and concerns in an acceptable manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics is an advantage
- Previous DMS software experience favourable but not essential as training provided
- Ability to multi task is a MUST
- Candidate must be reliable
- Strong Microsoft knowledge is an Advantage
