As our next HD Fitter reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
We are looking for experienced tradespersons to join our Workshop and Field teams.

Role
Thiess is offering a unique opportunity for experienced HD Fitters to join our team at the exciting and innovative Solomon Project located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
We are responsible for the maintenance of the largest Autonomous CAT Dump Truck Haulage Fleet in the World and we are transitioning our Drill Fleet to autonomy as well. This is an exciting opportunity to join a first class start of the art technologically advanced team within Mobile Maintenance.
The successful applicant will join a passionate and energetic team where they will be responsible for providing technical knowledge, support and assistance to Thiess' maintenance operations. The role will also provide an opportunity to expand your maintenance technical skills and become a leader in mechanical innovation.
Requirements
- Cert III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent
- HR Drivers Licence preferable
- Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
- Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
- Experience with the maintenance, service and repair of CAT 793 haul trucks a must for workshop vacancies
