ABOUT THE ROLE
RCR Resolve FM are a leading provider of technical facilities maintenance services in Australia and New Zealand.
Due to a recent contract win, RCR are looking for General Hands to work various remote sites, located near Longreach in QLD. The General Hands will work as part of a team to provide maintenance and trade service support across various buildings, infrastructure, and general facilities maintenance activities along with assisting the various trades as required.
This role will consist of assisting the Facilities Manager and Facilities Coordinators in site related duties such as monitoring and maintaining utility services (e.g. power, air conditioning, water), waste & rubbish disposal and facility sanitation.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to live and work away from home
- Ability to live and work remotely
- Ability to work a 2 week ON 2 week OFF roster
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance service industry
- A strong focus on occupations health & safety
- The ability to work autonomously as well as contribute to a team environment
- Desire to achieve best practise within their role
- Support & foster ethical behaviour
- Effective Communication skills aligned to the businesses needs
- Must be able to work effectively in a demanding and remote environment
As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
