The Role:

Our client is leading edge Developer and Construction Management company with a amazing amount of work ahead of them.

They are actively seeking experienced Materials Handling Coordinators to join their ever expanding team. To be successful within this role you will need to have experience overseeing sub-contractors and junior members of staff while working closely with senior members of a Site Based team to maintain these long standing, established working relationships. You will need to have relevant construction tickets and licences and have experience in commercial/residential construction.

• Responsible for coordinating and handling Materials like Piping, Equipment, Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Expertise in Material take-offs and warehouse / lay down set up.
• Experience on Materials receipt inspection and Quality control, Positive materials Identification, Materials Traceability, Materials Matching, Material reconciliation.
• Competency on understanding Material Test Certificates Data (e.g. Materials certificate No., materials identification No., materials grade, manufactures name, heat no, size).
• Responsible for coordination with Logistics as to get the delivery dates and to make arrangements for storing the materials as per vendor preservation instructions and to arrange for their delivery to stores / site.
• Administration and Inventory Control and follow up the damage or shortage reports.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within the Construction industry, being multidisciplinary projects including multi-storey medium to high density apartments to large scale commercial works.
• Current construction specific tickets and licences.
