Our client is a technical electronic security firm, operating from Yeerongpilly, Q 4105. They are seeking a Security Equipment Technician to join them on a full time basis.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering client work as well as proactively managing the integrity of their systems. You will work with a recurring client base and be given the autonomy to develop meaningful client relationships and deliver good work you can be proud of.
This is a rewarding and challenging role that would suit anyone with previous industry experience working with medium to large systems.
Duties and responsibilities
- install and commission Alarm & Access Control systems
- install and upgrade CCTV systems
- maintain and troubleshoot all system alerts & failures
- plan maintenance schedules
- map client security infrastructure using software
- use online job system, client notes & in team calendar
- order stock from suppliers and collate for installs
- be responsible for the whole client experience lifecycle, from install, to follow up reminders, to customer care calls
- lodge documentation in a timely manner

To be successful in this role you will need
- Current QLD Drivers' license
- Current QLD Security Installer & Adviser License
- White Card, Working at Heights, other industry cards
- Open Cabling license
