What’s the role?

Due to business growth, our Maintenance team now requires an additional Maintenance Fitter to join our Afternoon shift. We require someone that is flexible with their availabilities, as we are currently in the process of changing our factory over to 24-hour production. There is a likelihood that this role will change to a night shift pattern in March 2019.  

In this role your key responsibility will be to maintain our plant equipment to ensure all machinery runs efficiently.  No two days will ever be the same, however, your duties will include:

·Responding to plant breakdowns, fault finding and trouble-shooting machinery issues and general equipment repairs

·New equipment installation and commissioning projects

·Training manufacturing personnel in the safe use of equipment

·Assisting in the development of plant reliability and maintenance programs

What are we looking for?

A self-motivated team player, you will be highly experienced in maintenance within a high-speed manufacturing plant environment, FMCG or Dairy industry experience is a plus.  In addition, you will have:

·Experience in fault-finding and plant maintenance

·Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Quality/Food Safety  Management and ISO certification

·3 -5 years shift experience, preferably night shift

·Disconnect/Reconnect Licence not essential but would be an advantage

·Experience in MS Office Suite

·Flexible approach and adaptable to change

·Detail focussed with a high attention to detail

·A team player with the ability to build effective working relationships
