About the Company
Our client is a global company with a strong reputation for manufacturing, importing and distributing a wide range of gases, chemicals and foaming products. Best known for their refrigeration products, they are a market leader and innovator in the HVAC chemical and gas space.
  
They have recently rolled out a new technology in the recovery space, which allows them to recover refrigeration products quickly and safely.  The product recovery range will include R134A, R22, R404A, R507A and low pressure liquid refrigerants such as R11 and R123.
  
The technology launched in May 2018 and following a very successful start and a lot of interest at ARBS, we are now looking to grow the team and hire a second FST in Melbourne.  
  
What are we looking for?
In order to be successful you must:

• Be a fully qualified Refrigeration Mechanic, Technician or Plumber;
• Hold or be eligible to hold a Restricted Arctick License

In addition to the above you will also need to possess a well-developed communication style with the ability to form excellent relationships with a range of people.
  
Whilst this role will be field based, you will also be involved in the sales and business development side of the business. Therefore if you are looking to reduce the amount of time you spend on the tools, then this could be the role for you.

Not only will you spend two weeks in Arizona, USA to complete the training course, once you return, you will be fitted out with a custom built and specialised mobile recovery vehicle unlike anything else in Australia.
  
This is also a fantastic opportunity for a Refrigeration Technician to get more involved in the corporate side of business. Whilst you will still maintain your skills ‘on the tools’ you will also learn about business development, sales, stakeholder management, marketing, proposal & report writing and contracts of sale. 
  
In addition you will enjoy:

• No emergency night work – all night work will be scheduled in advance;
• No commute to the office – whilst this is role requires travel around Melbourne you will not be required in the office every day.
• Christmas Bonus – an extra weeks pay in December each year.
