Col Crawford’s is an Australian multi-franchise car dealership encompassing 8 manufacturers that has been servicing the Northern Beaches for over 50 years. Our high performing Spare Parts Department is currently looking for an Assistant Groups Spare Part Manager who is looking for a step up from Parts Interpreting or, dependant on your experience, a Groups Spare Part Manager.
The main objective of the Assistant/Group Parts Manager is to plan, organise and direct the activities of the spare parts operation to achieve performance objectives, targets, customer service benchmarks and to ensure delivery of a ‘customer for life’ experience.
To be successful in this role you will need previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or Assistant Parts Manager with excellent customer service, intermediate computer skills, strong time management & the ability to multi-task.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Act as 'Point of Contact' for complications & manage customer complaints in a timely & professional manner.
- Plan & manage the spare parts operations activities, regularly analyse results & identify methods of efficiency in order to achieve objectives without compromising quality of service
- Management of stock & inventory, including fast moving items, to ensure stock levels are adequate to meet the needs of the business, while minimising overheads & dead stock
- Oversee the timely distribution of orders to Parts Interpreters to ensure processed efficiently & accurately
Previous automotive spare parts experience is essential to be considered for this role – either in a current Parts Interpreting role or an Assistant Part Manager.
