ABOUT THE COMPANY - Based in the North-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, this Domestic and Commercial Carpentry Business has been in business for 14 years with a history of consistent and long-term clients with strong pipeline of work. This company prides itself on quality of work and has a reputation for providing an exceptional service including arriving and delivering on time and in-budget. The company completes both new construction and repairs/restorations throughout Melbourne for both occupied and fully operational job sites, with 50% of the work servicing Schools. 
  
ABOUT THE ROLE - Looking for a recently qualified Carpenter to work as a Sub-Contractor alongside the owner of the company.

YOUR GENERAL JOB FUNCTION; Carpentry work for services / projects including (but not limited to); 

• Frames, Lock-ups & Fixes
• All types of Cladding
• Decks & Alfresco's
• Bathroom & Kitchen renovations
• Full house renovations
• Maintenance
• All types of timber flooring including restoration
• Metal stud work
• Bulk heads & Grid ceilings
• Carports & verandahs
• Excavation 

WAGE: $35-$40 per hour.
GENERAL HOURS OF WORK: 7am start - 3-3:30pm finish (Including Saturdays); minimum 40 hours per week.
  
WE ARE LOOKING FOR - A Recently Qualified Carpenter who can demonstrate the following:

• Qualified Carpenter (minimum Cert 3)
• Working with Children's Check (Required)
• ABN holder with relevant insurances 
• Available to work Saturdays and Night Shift (where required)
• Manual Drivers Licence
• Has reliable transport with own tools
• ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND QUALITY OF WORK A MUST
• Punctual and a can do attitude
• Ability to work by yourself and with other trades
• Proactive and takes initiative
• Has a strong grasp, understanding and application of building workmanship
