About the opportunity
Due to growth in the Sydney region WesTrac is seeking an energetic and team orientated field based Service Technician (Lube Mechanic) to join our team.
As the successful applicant you will be required to perform servicing on CAT equipment, along with minor preventative maintenance repairs and inspections on a range of customer equipment in a fast paced work environment.
You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed in a safety conscious environment.
WE HAVE MOVED!! Our Branch has just relocated to a brand new state of the art facility in Casula.
What we’re looking for
- Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade qualification (or higher)
- Experience performing oil and filter changes on Heavy Machinery
- Current MR Licence
- Dedicated to maintaining and promoting safe work practices
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment is highly desirable
- Proven experience in a similar role with mechanical aptitude is highly desirable
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Ability to work rotating day and night shift
You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
