We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter with experience in low voltage industrial type switchboard wiring and PLC process control. This is a permanent position with a specialised electrical engineering company who is a market leader. You will enjoy working as part of a team and have the ability to work autonomously as required to ensure jobs are completed on time, to customer requirements. You will be working in a clean and well organised workshop/factory environment. Salary is negotiable. Easy access via M5 motorway and public transport (short 7 min walk from Ingleburn station).
- To be successful in applying for this position applicants must possess the following:
- The ability to maintain component stock levels
- Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with AS/NZS3000 wiring rules and/or familiar with AS/NZ 31439.1-2016
- Previous experience with wiring of electrical control panels and industrial type switchboards while maintaining compliance to standards, codes, and regulations
- The ability to work to our existing job control procedure while adhering to departmental work schedules and documentation
- A proven ability to manage workload and supervise an electrical assistant who will be reporting directly to you
- The ability to meet short production objectives
- The ability to work to electrical / schematic wiring diagrams unsupervised
- A willingness to commit to a long term factory based role
- A professional and pro-active approach to work
