We are currently looking for an experienced Used Car Recon Technician for our busy service centre at Melville VW. This is an ideal position for a suitably qualified tradesman who thrives on new challenges, embraces a winning team culture and enjoys working on all makes and models in a modern dealership. Reporting to the service manager, you will be responsible for the mechanical reconditioning of our used vehicles that will be sold through our used car department. Experience in a similar role is essential. If you have an outgoing personality, strong work ethic, present well and willingness to succeed, this will be the ideal job for you.
The successful candidate will demonstrate,
- Trade qualified in light vehicle mechanical
- Sound knowledge in diagnosis and trouble shooting
- Repairers certificate preferred
- Full WA drivers licence
- Air – con licence preferred
- Must have own comprehensive tool kit
- Great communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Professionally Presentable
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
- Willingness to succeed
- Ability to work under pressure
- A team player who also has the ability to work without supervision and uses their initiative
