Michael Page is currently seeking an experienced Welder/Metal Fabricator for employment opportunities based in the ACT and surrounding areas.
Client Details
Our client who is a market leader in the construction Industry with over 20 year's experience in civil, demolition & excavation, are currently looking for an experienced Boilermaker/Welder (MIG, TIG or Stick).
Description
- To perform a range of fabrication and repair work to aluminium and steel rigid/dog trailers to specified standards and safety requirements.
- Use specialist light and heavy machinery and equipment associated with the Construction industry.
- Ensuring fabrication/repair standards are maintained to high standards for the safe and efficient operation.
Profile
- Strong work ethic.
- Punctuality and reliability is a must.
- A minimum of 3 years experience is preferred
- Competent Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator (MIG/TIG/Stick).
- Skills in general steel fabrication and vehicle repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
- Happy to work within a team environment and also autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail, to adhere all policies and procedures.
- White Card & Asbestos Awareness is required.
