Vanderfield has been operating for over 50 years in Australia and is a respected agricultural machinery and truck dealerships throughout regional Australia. Vanderfield provides sales, service and spare parts to the agriculture, transport, mining and construction industries in the QLD, NT and northern Kimberly region. Working with strong brands such as John Deere and Manitou we require the right person for the following position in our Chinchilla Branch.
Vanderfield Chinchilla has an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced and qualified Service Technician. Vanderfield Chinchilla is looking for an individual who is passionate about their role in a growing and innovative company. You will be working with an experienced workforce who are passionate about their trade, the agriculture industry and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
- Trade qualification certificate;
- 5 - 7 years of experience performing repairs;
- Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures;
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment;
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and basic computer functions;
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes;
- Proficient oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to carry out manual labour including repetitive lifting;
- Valid driver's license is required;
- Forklift license preferred.
