A-GRADE ELECTRICAN
High Access Group is an established family owned business and one of its divisions, High Access Cabling, is a registered, insured and fully compliant electrical contracting business that specialises in providing electrical services on public and commercial infrastructure.
We have a great opportunity for the right applicant to join our team based in Bulleen.
Your new role
As electrical leading hand you will be the responsible person on site running and co-ordinating a crew of tradesmen as well as working on the tools as required. You will be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and will work closely with the project manager to ensure works are carried out.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Manage day to day operational aspects, ensuring job specifications and design documentation are met on time, and quality processes are followed.
- Planning and scheduling of labour and materials
- Effectively resolve issues as they arise whilst guiding the team to do their best work.
- Identifying any defects, errors or variations in all aspects of the project and ensuring all applicable paperwork and checklists are completed.
- Monitor productivity, complete documentation and build effective relationship and communication with everyone on site including our client’s representatives.
- Fits well in a team but also has the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to promote and display a safe working environment
- Small team so good attendance and reliability is a must.
- Will be required to take part in manual labour such as installing electrical conduits, pits and cable.
- Able to work flexible working hours.
- Housekeeping and general duties.
- Ability to multitask
Qualification/Trades Licence:
- Licensed Electrician
- A valid Victorian Driver’s License (Mandatory)
- OHS Construction Induction Card (Mandatory)
- EWP Licence (Desirable)
