We are a technical manufacturing company based in Tullamarine who markets precision industrial products within a variety of specialist applications.

Due to a spike in work activity, we are looking to appoint a technically competent CAM Programmer who is comfortable working as a CNC Operator to develop tooling and assist with the backlog of work. Ideally you will bring experience developing high precision components for a range of tooling, jigs & fixtures and want to work within a supportive engineering team assisting in the development and manufacture of innovative engineering components.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A trade or tertiary qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Toolmaker or Engineer)
• Sound experience with programming CAM software for CNC machines
• Demonstrated experience operating vertical CNC machining centre and planning effective tool path in a high precision environment
• Ability to read plans and schedules to meet deadlines
• Practical experience with the development of industrial tooling
• Clear verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Knowledge of  plastic injection moulded tools would be an advantage
