About the Company
Tefol Pty Ltd is a leading transport and mining service organisation, based at Rutherford and Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley and Mackay in Central Queensland. About the Role
Due to our continued growth we are currently seeking a boilermaker to be based at our Muswellbrook branch.
Our Boilermakers play a vital role in our business and are responsible for maintaining the companies' excellent reputation of high quality steel fabrication and repair that is paramount to our valued customers.
Key Duties
- Demonstrate a safety first outlook,
- Welding - MIG, stick & TIG (not essential but looked upon favourably),
- All facets of oxy-acetylene use,
- Steel fabrication and repairs to high standards,
- Build clear and open communication with Supervisors and Management.
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualifications in Boilermaking (Statement of Attainment),
- Demonstrated high level welding ability in heavy/light steel fabrication and repairs,
- Current weld test certification will be looked on favourably,
- Proven capacity to problem solve with excellent time management skills,
- Ability to read and interpret drawings,
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Current Drivers Licence
Desirable Criteria
- Current qualifications - High Risk - LF, W@H, Confined Space, EWP, MDG25, Resfit, etc..
- Current MR/HR Licence,
- Existing mines Order 41 medical + chest x-ray,
- Up to date mine inductions within the Hunter Valley
