About Us
Cooper Fluid Systems supply, install and service hydraulic and lubrication equipment to the mining and other associated industries. We are part of the Coventry Group Ltd, a distributor of industrial fasteners, fluid systems, cabinet hardware and gaskets operating throughout Australia and New Zealand who employ approximately 530 people within a network of 72 branches.
The Opportunity
A fantastic and rare opportunity exists for an experienced Hydraulic and Lubrication Fitter to join our fast paced hydraulic workshop in Redcliffe.
Working as part of a busy but highly motivated team we are looking for a Qualified Fitter with the following skills:
- The ability to do site work (Perth metro & surrounding areas)
- Significant experience in the overhaul, diagnosis and repair of hydraulic cylinders, motors, pumps and valves
- Outstanding customer service skills
- A disciplined and mature work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised
- Post Trade Qualifications in Hydraulics or Pneumatics will be highly regarded
- Occasional short duration mine site travel will be required

About You
Candidates with the following skills and attributes will be highly regarded:
- Exceptional communication & organisational skills
- Hydraulic Design and Diagnosis experience
- Working knowledge of AS5062 and AS185,1 relative to fire protection
- Experience with lubrication and refuelling systems
