The Job
Vibe Hotel Gold Coast currently have an opportunity for a Full Time & Part Time Handyperson. This position requires the successful applicant to be able to learn quickly and follow direction. Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential as on the job training will be provided. The role will require the applicant to work through the general maintenance of the building and assist the Maintenance Manager with all aspects of the hotels upkeep and the scheduled refurbishment.
Key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:
- Presentation & upkeep of guest rooms & public areas
- Painting
- Plumbing
- Monthly & weekly projects
- Following a preventative maintenance program
To be successful, we are looking for someone able to demonstrate:
- Fantastic organisation skills & great time management skills
- Work well within a team & customer care skills essential
- Willingness to learn with a practical flare and commitment to the role
- Well-groomed and comfortable interacting with the public
