A full time Maintenance Technician of superior quality required to join our service driven team at 150 Clarendon Street East Melbourne to deliver solutions to residents and commercial businesses with demanding expectations.

Applicants from 5 star hotel maintenance, iconic facility or premium residential building background preferred. Ideally you will be a registered plumber with demonstrable experience in HVAC systems, Fire Alarm panel operation, general repairs and mechanical plant maintenance.

This role is Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with the expectation that only emergency issues would require working after hours. Public Holidays are not expected to be worked, unless emergency.

Responsibilities include active preventative maintenance work of building assets and experience with maintaining maintenance log and inspection of mechanical plant and equipment in line with services schedule.

Basic handyman duties in resident apartments (attending to loose handles, taps, squeaky doors, cleaning AC filters, changing bellows on WC systems, replacing light globes, buttons and panels when required, and investigating issues that may arise) as well as cleaning of plant and facilities areas, car wash bay and basic garden duties also required.

Working with the buildings key building service suppliers and preferred trades (electricians, plasterers etc) is a key component of this role.

Reporting directly to the General Manager the ability to think on your feet, apply a mature sensibility, communicate with ease and clarity is required to master this rewarding and demanding opportunity.
