Celsius Fire Services are a well established, growing company with operations in 3 states. We are currently seeking a suitably qualified sprinkler fitter with a strong service focus to install, service and maintain fire protection systems such as fire sprinklers, fire hydrants, foam deluge, gas suppression systems and Pump sets, in Retail, Industrial and Commercial environments. The successful candidate will need to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
In accordance with Australian Standards and within the scope of your licenses your key responsibilities will include:
- Installation, maintenance and servicing of wet, deluge and gaseous sprinkler systems and associated equipment.
- Installation, maintenance and servicing of fire pump sets.
- Installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of fire hydrant and hose reel installations.
- Drain Down and recharging of sprinkler systems.
- Flow and Hydrostatic testing of sprinkler and hydrant systems.
- Professional client interaction.
- Reporting on your activities, compliance issues and health & safety matters.
- Be part of an on-call roster.
Our Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification in Sprinkler Fitting. (Must be Australian Recognised)
- A valid and unrestricted open Driver's licence. (with clean driving record)
- Current National Police certificate clearance / Working with Children Clearance.
- Knowledge of Australian standards and codes relevant to the fire industry (Particularly AS2118, AS2419 and AS1851)
- Proven industry experience servicing, repairing, maintaining and installing fire systems and equipment including fire suppression systems, hydrants and fire pump sets.
- Strong ability in fault diagnosis and solving issues on site.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a range of people.
- Ability to plan work in advance, and demonstrates and aptitude for time management and service delivery.
- The ability to work autonomously with a pro-active approach to managing deadlines.
- The ability to use Smart Phone and Job Reporting Apps.
- The ability to read /interpret plans / Schematics and complete fab sheets.
- EWP License.
- White Card.
- EAHL – Gas Systems License will be Highly Regarded.
- Must Have Full Work Rights In Australia.
