An exciting opportunity exists within the MSS Security Aviation division located at Newman, WA. The successful applicant will possess proven leadership ability and be able to motivate and lead a dynamic team of people working within a regulated Aviation Security environment
Reporting to the Aviation Contract Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the day to day work of the MSS employees and managing the client relationship to ensure service in line with contract requirements.
As the Aviation Site Supervisor your primary areas of responsibility include:
- Oversee the provision of Aviation Security services at the Newman site.
- Ensure delivery of optimum service levels as required by our clients.
- Effectively co-ordinate operational and human resource requirements.
- Liaise with client representatives.
- Ensure all staff are trained and qualified to work as per legislative requirements.
- Ensure all personnel fully conform to company policy as well as Site Standing Orders and other instructions.
- Promote customer service by providing courteous and helpful assistance to client enquiries
- Incident investigation and report writing
- Provide positive leadership.
- Other duties as required by the Management.
To be considered for the role you will require the following professional competencies:
- Experience in security site management
- Experience working within aviation security
- Previous leadership experience within large teams
- High level of written and verbal communication
- Incident investigation experience
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- A current WA Security License
- A current ASIC clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
- A current Senior First Aid Certificate
- A current WA Drivers License
