We currently have a vacancy within our Technical team for a Technical Business Partner, reporting to the Technical Business Partner Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your career with an industry leader!
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the research and development of new products to deliver innovation to the business and facilitate an increase in projects. As the Technical Business Partner, you will have active participation and provide support to identify and propose new products, as well as resolving product or process issues as they arise.
You will ideally have a culinary background with a passion for food and have food technology experience with a focus on new product development.
Additionally, for this role you will:
• Take a site lead position in project management and delivery, ensuring active engagement with Quality, Operations, Planning and Procurement.
• Have strong communication skills to directly liaise with key external customers and supply partners.
• Keep up to date with, and interpret, food trends and consumer insights to assist in product ideation and design.
• Propose new product development initiatives based on interpretation of current food trends and consumer insights.
To be successful in this role you will require tertiary qualifications within food technology, as well as:
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in new product development within the food, FMCG or related industries.
• A strong ability to build rapport and effective working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
• A creative and data driven approach to problem solving.
• Excellent team working skills with the sound ability to work autonomously.
