The Opportunity

The Quality Control function at CSL Behring is currently recruiting for a QC Support Officer to join our dynamic team at our Broadmeadows site.  This position is a 6 month maternity leave position.  In this role, you will assist the team in providing QC information and support customers in a timely manner. Your duties will include receipt and logging of al QC Samples into the Laboratory information Management System and organising shipping of samples to be sent to external laboratories.

The Role

Reporting to the QC Senior Support Officer your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure SOPs are followed and updated to reflect process changes at all times and ensure a safe work environment is maintained
• Ensure sample details are accurate and logged in appropriately; following up with customers where necessary
• Distribute samples to internal testing departments and external testing laboratories
• Manage enquiries regarding test status/results and print samples analysis results
• Aseptically aliquot product for testing.
• Maintain databases for storage of retention samples, and conduct annual visual inspections
• Retrieve, label and distribute stability trial samples, ensuring all databases are updated in the process Also set up time zero stability trials
• Perform calibration and maintenance of departmental equipment
• Enter test results in LIMS
• Perform MLP amendments and LARF in LIMS

To be successful

• A minimum of tertiary qualifications in Science or equivalent
• Experience in LIMS, SAP, Word and Excel
• Knowledge of GMP
• Worked within a Quality Department in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• High level organisation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer focus
