The opportunity
Reporting to the Business Manager- Bionutrients this role will support the development of new bionutrient products, manufacturing processes and analytical methods, at the laboratory, pilot and plant scale through to commercialisation.
The Bionutrients Technologist will be the subject matter expert in lactoferrin and milk bioactive protein manufacturing driving process and quality improvement initiatives.
Location: Tatura

Additionally you will have:
- A willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A reputation for producing quality work with high attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience in development and production of dairy speciality ingredients, nutritionals or biopharmaceuticals - preferably lactoferrin
- Exposure to new product development
- Proficient in protein fractionation and purification, including chromatography, filtration, and drying
- Masters or PhD in Dairy science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical science or like discipline
