About the role:
A great opportunity for a motivated and well organised individual to ensure the highest possible standards of product quality & food safety so we can deliver a high-quality experience in line with our customer’s expectations. This role will be working across our 3 iconic brands; Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat.
Reporting to the Head of Technical, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that quality, food safety systems and processes conform to Craveable Brands standards and all Federal and State legislation.

Using your strong ability to build and forge relationships with stakeholders you’ll work in conjunction with suppliers to improve product quality. You’ll use your commitment to the principles of food safety and attention to detail to review Supplier Quality Incident systems and ensure all feedback is communicated to relevant parties in a timely manner. While also ensuring that meaningful corrective & preventative actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence. In addition, you’ll assist in the execution of product recalls/withdrawals as directed by the Head of Technical and work in conjunction with the brands’ operations teams in respect to co-ordination of this.

About you:
This is an exciting time for our brands as they each go from strength to strength and continue to build upon their successes. To be successful in this role you’ll have experience in a similar role within the food industry for at least 3 years, experience in the poultry manufacturing sector & management of documented Quality Systems would be highly regarded. You’ll also hold a qualification in & proven experience of HACCP, SQF, BRC, or WQA and animal welfare principles. As well as an understanding of key industry food standards (including packaging) including federal and state based legislation. Further, you’ll need to have the ability to travel interstate for short periods of time.

Finally, your strong written and verbal communication skills and your ability to manage competing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously will make you a stand out in this role.
