About the role:
Currently our Sydney office is recruiting for a Food Technician to work within a food manufacturer testing beverage products.
Our client is based in the Central Coast. This role is a contract opportunity.

You will be reporting to the Site Manager and your duties will include:
• Microbiological testing of beverage samples
• Collecting environmental samples for micro testing
• Calibration of laboratory instruments daily and maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the lab.

This role will require you to have recent qualifications in food science ideally with some relevant food manufacturing experience.
The ideal candidate for this role will be flexible as there may be a requirement for overtime, including weekends. You must also have access to your own transport.

Skills & experience:
• Have relevant qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
• Have hands on recent laboratory experience in a busy, fast paced food environment
• Have a keen and diligent work ethic with good people skills to work within this enthusiastic team
• Good understanding of quality standards and HACCP
• Strong computer skills MS Word/Excel
• Excellent eye for detail and accuracy skills
• Access to your own transport.
