Progressive opportunity for an Environmental Services Manager to ensure a quality service across a SE hospital
Your new company
A leading South-East hospital has an immediate opening for an Environmental Services Manager. They pride themselves on their level of care provided throughout Victoria, based from 3 different campuses.
They ensure that their patients are the focus of everything they do, and with their state of the art facilities, they are able to provide a number of high quality health services across Victoria. They are looking to add someone to their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
• You will be responsible for providing high levels of cleanliness and hygiene across the hospital, adhering to Australian Standards.
• You will manage a team of 12 cleaning staff.
• You will allocate work to the team, ensuring it is within contract and within budget.
• You will manage a financial budget, set by line management.
• You will plan staff schedules, responsible for roster, and any annual or sick leave of staff.
• You will build strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients and their families, managers and direct reports.
What you’ll need to succeed
• Strong knowledge of cleaning and hygiene regulations.
• Previous experience in leading and managing a team.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a budget.
• A good working knowledge of compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively converse with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Great organisational skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of work and prioritise.
• Previous experience working within a hospital would be advantageous.
