The Development Manager - Commercial  will be responsible for the roll out of commercial strategy in the CBD Community of the master planned project. They will be responsible for identifying the highest and best use for commercial sites, negotiation with end users and delivery of works including strategic infrastructure staging. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Development Manager work closely with a Commercial Business Development Manager.

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for commercial element of the Business Plan including project scope, budget and overall development strategy.
• Formulate infrastructure staging and servicing to meet end users needs
• Obtain necessary approvals and clearance of conditions with relevant government authorities.
• Prepare & review commercial design guidelines.
• Working in collaboration with the Marketing Executive(s) and the rest of the Project Team to develop a clear Commercial Vision as part of the master planned community.
• Negotiation with end users in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
• Manage/oversee the project feasibilities in association with Business Analyst
• Appointment and management of external service providers including Consultants and Contractors.

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Degree in Property, Commerce, Planning, Engineering, Project Management or related discipline or equivalent experience
• Understanding and responding to project target market through project delivery strategy.
• Experience delivery a commercial/retail precinct.
• A strong understanding and focus on commercial end user requirements
• Ability and experience negotiating with commercial clients.
