In Australia, our market-leading Research business unit provides strategic advice and market analysis to a growing client base that includes some of the largest financial institutions locally and internationally.
What does this job involve?
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Research Analyst to join our market leading research team. The role will be based in Sydney.
As a key member of our national multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for:
- tracking a range of property data including vacancy, construction and sales and leasing transactions;
- maintaining databases
- identifying investment themes and trends
- preparing reports and contributing to forecasts; and
- Answering queries and requests from our research clients and the wider JLL business.
Your analysis and reports will be distributed domestically and offshore to leading real estate investors, financial institutions, the major banks and public authorities.
What are we looking for?
You are a team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, who is comfortable working with desk-top software packages (Word, Powerpoint and Excel). You will be confident, positive, and very well organised. We are in the research and communications business - therefore punctuality, accuracy and professional presentation of reports is essential. An interest in the financial and real estate industry and experience working with large sets of data is highly regarded but not essential.
The position is open to recent graduates and to applicants with a few years' experience. Training in, and knowledge of, the real estate sector are desirable but not essential. Qualifications in Economics, Finance and other disciplines will be highly regarded.
