Due to recent growth and a commitment to continuous improvement, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Facilities Coordinator to join our corporate team.   

 

Reporting to the Projects & Facilities Manager, this role will see the successful applicant responsible for the day-to-day management of all building and maintenance related tasks such as:

  • Preventative and non-scheduled maintenance to ensure that facilities are functional and any issues are resolved promptly;
  • Coordination of all compliance testing and servicing required;
  • Coordination and supervision of engaged contractors including maintaining an up-to-date register of contractors;
  • Ensuring that all plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose;
  • Liaison with building management and/or landlord on all items relating to centres as required per lease agreements;
  • Response to building / maintenance emergency situations to secure the property, plant & equipment as well as, where necessary, ensuring conditions are made safe as promptly as possible;
  • Coordination of the delivery of assigned capital projects at existing centres;
  • Insurance related items from incident response / repairs and claim lodgement, through to finalisation of claims.  

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a relevant discipline e.g. property, facilities etc.;
  • A current Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain one);
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to engage in, and deliver, multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • A proactive approach to issue resolution; solution oriented;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications;
  • The right to live and work in Australia.
