Our client, a well-regarded national property firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee all reactive and planned maintenance, whilst ensuring presentation and health & safety are upheld. 

 
The Ideal Candidate

• Assuming overall responsibility for management of Hard and Soft Services for the assigned property
• Assisting with the creation of operational and capital expenditure budgets and management of these
• Promote a strong customer centric focus
• Lead a high performance team, building a strong level of capability and engagement
• Overseeing project works and managing contractors 
• Monthly reporting
• Developing and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
• Build long term value for all stakeholders through a commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability
• Ensuring compliance and OH&S is adhered to
• Assisting with the implementation of sustainability projects 
• Liaising with tenants and customers 

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Previous experience in an Operations/Facilities role in retail or commercial property
• Trade or Engineering Qualifications and Facilities Management Certificate in a related field is highly desirable
• Outstanding technical knowledge of M&E, HVAC and Plumbing 
• Experience in the management of diverse building systems including budget and contractor control and development 
• Sound knowledge of the Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations and the Retail Shop Leases Act
• Staff management experience
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and assume full responsibility of completion of task
