Key Purpose of role:
My NSW Government client are seeking to hire an experienced Property Manager/Team Leader with high level commercial property experience, (ideally within government or a lawyer with property experience). The successful candidate will be supervising a small Commercial Property team.
Key requirements of the role:
- Supervise the Commercial Property team
- Manage a broad portfolio of commercial, residential and retail leases across NSW
- Manage transactions including lease assignments, compliance management, variations and work applications
- Identify and resolve issues on property managers through effective research and consultation including compliance, contract audit and dispute resolutions
- Provide property management analysis advice and support, often regarding locations with unique features (such as heritage, visitor experience, remote locations, high public/political visibility)
In order to be considered for this role you must possess the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, including team leadership/supervisory experience
- Demonstrated high-level experience in the management of property contracts
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Current driver’s licence
- Previous government experience beneficial
