Your new company
I am partnering with an expanding property developer who have an established presence in Victoria. The business has been successful in delivering a range of projects from residential communities & apartments to office buildings and business parks over the last 5-10 years. At the moment, they are sitting on a range of diverse projects that are either in planning, or in construction and as a result, they are looking to grow their development team.
Your new role
This role would report in to a Development Manager and would assist in covering the full project cycle from running a feasibility model in the early stages, to sitting in on consultant meetings and reporting back to management, as well as being involved with the commercial leasing side of projects and scoping out new business opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have at least 2-3 years experience in property development. Your early experience could have been acquired in a relevant market; whether that be valuation, design, town planning etc but you must have an understanding of the development process and have worked actively on projects. Ideally you will have experience in commercial leasing, you must be switched on and display a passion for the property industry. With a desire to learn, Your relevant tertiary degree in property will stand you in good stead.
