The Company
Our client, a leading and innovative organisation that provides information and analytics to companies within the financial industry, is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their building products team.
The Opportunity
Based in Sydney, this is a senior autonomous position responsible for the development and management of these products, thereby playing a key role in the achievement of profit targets as well as revenue growth across large vertical market segments in Australia, New Zealand and other International regions. Involvement in all stages of the product lifecycle is crucial to these products’ success.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Creation of new tools and methods to improve existing products
- Extensive Customer interaction to ensure product is received well
- Maintaining P&L as well as creating sustainable revenue
- Maintaining close relationships with the market so as to be aware of their needs, as well as development of effective marketing strategies for meeting these needs
- Improving product portfolio performance in line with business plans, using both existing and new market channels
- Liaising with key stakeholders and clients in order to advance the positioning of the products in the market
- Development of an integrated approach to product development with other stakeholders in the business
- Development and Implementation of the strategic plan for this suite of products
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong product management experience from conception to implementation
- Collaborative approach
- Understanding of analytics and how they are used effectively
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to form close relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously when required
