About the company:

ACRWORLD are working exclusively with one of Sydney's most progressive Australian owned Facilities Management company with an expansive portfolio across high end residential and commercial properties in Sydney.

Due to company growth an exciting full time ongoing opportunity is available for an experienced Building Manager to manage 2 buildings on Sydney's North Shore and Inner West.

Building 1 - Brand new property in Inner West - 120+ units
Building 2 - Prestigious residential asset in North Shore - 130+ units

Ideally you will have new building set up experience including the management of the common property defects process with the builder.

About the role:
  • Heavy involvement in defect management of the new site and liaise closely with builders with all reporting
  • Management of a small part time concierge team
  • Ensuring smooth process of new tenant move ins
  • Providing guidance and advice on annual expenditure and budgets
  • Management of all contractors, cleaning team including performance and ensuring work is carried out to a high standard
  • Enforce strata by-laws and ensure they are adhered to be all occupants.
  • Obtain competitive quotations where contracts are due for renewal.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reporting.
  • Offer regular recommendations to the Strata Committee and attend AGM/Executive Committee meetings
About you:
  • 3-5 years experience in Residential Facilities Management
  • Previous defect management experience or managing a new build 
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously or within a team
  • In depth knowledge of Strata Schemes, Statutory Legislation and WHS
  • Professional presentation with excellent customer service written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • A positive attitude with flexibility to perform varied duties- some after hours work may be required
