Place Estate Agents is looking for a contracts administrator to work out of our Head Office at East Brisbane.  Reporting to the Manager of Legal and Compliance, your position will be driven around compliance, so you play an important role!  Your position will contribute to the Contracts Management team of six whereby your primary responsibility will be to process and manage contracts of sale and listing agreements as well as other associated aspects with a heavy emphasis on compliance and best practice.  Be prepared for your day to be highly reactive surrounding the sales activity of Brisbane's largest real estate sales force – your ability to multi-task, whilst meeting deadlines will be one of your best attributes!  The position is located within the Corporate Head Office of Place (East Brisbane) and is available for immediate start.

Duties

  • Prioritise and process contracts of sale and new listings (form 6) with an emphasis on compliance.
  • Report any problems to your contracts coordinator for communication back to the agent
  • Conduct title searches and company searches
  • Accurate data entry into CRM
  • Preparation of correspondence
  • Communicate with solicitors on behalf of Place and our Agents keeping your contract coordinator abreast of changes
  • Trust account deposit receipts
  • Prepare accounts for settlement
  • Work on achievement of team goals
  • General office and ad hoc tasks as requested by your contracts coordinator or Manager

Skills & Experience

  • Have at least 4+ years' experience in a fast paced administration role
  • Real estate contracts experience is essential
  • Good understanding of the Property Occupations Act is highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal form
  • Possess exceptional computer skills in data base operation and Microsoft Office 365 operation
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Your maturity and solution focused attitude will be present during interview
  • Ability to work autonomously as well being able to play your part in a team that strives for excellence and accountability
