An exciting role has arisen for an engaging commercial lawyer to join a highly successful ASX listed corporation in the FMCG space. The role is based at HQ in Melbourne and reports to teh General Counsel. This role provides the opportunity to work with a nimble team of dynamic lawyers and help shape the future direction and development of this progressive and growing organisation. As such you will support and provide advice across all divisions of the business on a range of corporate and commercial matters.
Key responsibilities will include:-
- Advising on M&A and JV activity
- Senior stakeholder engagement
- Advising on business expansion activities and projects relevant to the business
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Advising on regulatory issues
- Advising on claims affecting the business and litigation
- IP and trade practices
This role has lots of scope and opportunity to contribute. The successful candidate will have 6- 10 years post qualification experience from a leading commercial practice or in-house environment and a solid track record in either corporate/commercial law.
