You will have the opportunity to be heavily involved in a variety of matters related to the Corporations Act, M&A, IPOs, capital raisings, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, projects and general commercial matters. This is an opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners in the field, to learn from their experience and to contribute with your initiative and hands-on approach.
About you
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of practice that comes from your 6-8 years of post-admission experience as a practitioner in this area.
We look for talented people who demonstrate core competencies required for success – strong communication skills; the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment; excellent technical and drafting skills; and a demonstrated commerciality and client focus.
The successful candidate will have:
- a genuine interest and demonstrated experience in corporate and commercial law and practice (essential);
- motivation to contribute to the continued growth and success of the team;
- knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASX listing rules (preferred); and
- experience in advising listed companies (preferred).
