We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator – Legal & Compliance, to join our busy In-house Legal team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to the ANZ Legal and Compliance Team with operational, administrative and secretarial support. The team consists of 6 team members. This is a full time, permanent role, based in Macquarie Park. Free on-site parking available.


A Day in the Life

  • Act as a coordinator for company events, assisting with the preparation of legal documentation;
  • Assisting with responding to enquiries from employees in a prompt, accurate, and professional manner;
  • Ensuring that agreements are reviewed, signed, tracked and returned to the business in a timely manner;
  • Preparation of reports for business and functions, presentations and materials for employees related to legal and compliance matters;
  • Assisting with the requirements for the Board of Director meetings, Compliance Committee and Corporate Governance matters for Medtronic;
  • Preparation of presentations and materials to employees regarding legal and compliance matters;
  • Proactively assist and contribute to the Legal and Compliance Team with continuous improvement projects;
  • Organise, maintain and improve various filing systems;
  • Processing the payment of invoices through SAP;
  • In charge of managing the Legal and Compliance Intranet;
  • Organizing and managing travel arrangements for the team;
  • Any other ad-hoc task, as required.

Must Have:

  • Experience in a similar role within In-House legal team or Legal office;
  • Previous experience in document management, corporate secretarial and/or SAP will be highly regarded
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
  • Knowledge of SharePoint (preferred)
  • Ability to build strong customer (internal and external) relationships;
  • Flexibility to prioritise effectively to meet the variety of demands needed;
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, conflict resolution, and independent working skills;
  • Enthusiastic and energetic member of a team;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Medical Devices industry experience.
