About the company

Our client based in CBD is a national leading law firm looking to establish and grow their Family law team. The role will cover all aspects of Family law. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years family law experience. More experienced candidates' are encouraged to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities

• A minimum of 5 years post admission family law experience.
• Deal with complex parenting and child support matters (including relocation and recovery matters)
• Deal with complex/high value property settlement matters (involving complex commercial structures, injunctions, interlocutory applications)
• Competent and confident advocacy skills (court appearances and conciliation conferences)

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
• Problem solving skills with good common sense, to find practical and commercial solutions
• The ability to be non-judgmental
• Business acumen
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision from client engagement to completion and also within a team environment
