The Company

Currently, they have a requirement for a committed, energetic and high performing Legal Secretary to join their Sydney office to support the solicitors.

The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic and highly collaborative team. You will be providing first class administrative support and develop trusting working relationships with the solicitors and their clients within the Insurance Litigation team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing diaries of senior staff as well as dictation
  • Organisation of monthly billing and expenses
  • Drafting and editing correspondence
  • Liaising with solicitors and their clients
  • Maintaining physical and electronic filing
  • Preparing briefs and opening and closure of files

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within Insurance Litigation
  • Familiarity with iManage and Open Practice is an advantage
  • A strong administrative background with excellent typing and document drafting skills
  • A pro-active ability to maintain high quality work with exceptional attention to detail
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and organise workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Motivation and communication confidence
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
